What is the Charm Egg?
The Charm Egg was one of the eggs only rumoured to exist, but it is attainable in the current build. It is produced by several common-ish chickens, which makes it easy to stock up once you have a couple of producers.
Its hatch pool is spread fairly evenly, so there is no single dominant chase - you open Charm Eggs when you need more fodder or a specific chocolate/dessert-themed line.
How to farm them
- Hold a Boba Hen, Cupcake Chick or Plush Chick to produce Charm Eggs at 100%.
- Add a Bow Chick or Ballerina Hen for extra drop coverage without breaking your egg-chain economy.
- Open in batches; the evenly-split pool means single opens are unlikely to give you the unit you want.
A dessert-theme egg with an even pool
What makes the Charm Egg distinct is how balanced its hatch pool is. There is no runaway single unit - Cupcake Chick and Plush Chick top out around 15% each, with the next few producers clustering near 11%.
That even spread is actually convenient for progression: you are never "fishing" for one rare hatch, so you can open Charm Eggs freely for fodder. The tradeoff is that getting a specific dessert-theme unit still takes volume, so batch-opening beats single-hatching for consistency.
Reading the percentages
The ~15% and ~11% figures come from community-compiled data and are planning numbers, not fixed drop guarantees. They have shifted between builds in the past.
Before you rely on a Charm Egg chain for a specific roast, hatch a small sample yourself and compare the spread to this page - that confirms the numbers hold for the build you are playing.
Frequently asked questions
What hatches from the Charm Egg?
Cupcake Chick and Plush Chick are the top results (about 15% each), followed by Ballerina Hen, Boba Hen and Bow Chick around 11%.
Is the Charm Egg event-only?
No - it is obtainable in the current build through multiple producers, so it is not gated to an event window.
Why is the Charm hatch pool so even?
Developers spread the rates instead of giving it one chase hatch; that makes it a good fodder egg but a volume game if you need a specific dessert-theme unit.
