What this list ranks
This is a working meta ranking of every chicken we track, judged on how useful it is across the three places that matter most in the game: PIT, TOWER and Fusion. The stage column tells you which context a chicken shines in, because a unit that carries you through the early PIT can be a dead weight on the TOWER, and vice versa.
The three stages
- PIT - the steady resource-gathering stage where you boot up, earn, and build your first strong comp. Cheap, reliable output wins here.
- TOWER - the end-game vertical climb. Here you need sustained damage and survivable stats, so the units that top the TOWER column are the ones worth long-term investment.
- Fusion - units that matter mainly because their copies are worth feeding into the fusion system to strengthen your chain, rather than for combat alone.
What the tier badge means
Tiers go from S (define the meta, ideal to build around) down to D (niche or outclassed). The tiers are a community-style judgement, not numbers straight from the game - they combine raw stats, skill output, and how easily a unit fits common fusion paths.
How to use this list
Match the ranking to the stage you are actually in. Early on, favour PIT units to get a fast, low-cost start; once your comp can climb, begin layering in the TOWER entries. The same chicken rarely tops all three columns, so avoid tunnelling on a single "best" name - build a pool that covers the stage you are playing.
The role column (attacker, support, tank, etc.) helps you balance a lineup: a spread of roles beats stacking three glass cannons. For the full picture of each unit - rarity, skills and which egg it hatches from - browse the chicken list; every tier entry links back to the deeper guide content.
Why it changes
Every patch can rebalance skills, add fusions, or introduce new event units that slot straight into the top tier. When that happens the ordering drifts, so this page is updated in bursts rather than weekly. If you spot a unit that should clearly move, our PvP and skill-counters guide dives into the matchups behind the rankings, and you can report a change at [email protected].
