Grow a Chicken Fighter Tier List: Best Chickens & Skills

The current Grow a Chicken Fighter meta: best chickens for PvP, TOWER and fusion, plus the S/A/B skills that make them strong.

What this tier list covers

This tier list ranks the best chickens for current Grow a Chicken Fighter, plus the strongest skills. It is based on the current community meta (Pro Game Guides, Aug 2026) and should be verified in-game before you spend your best eggs.

The top picture is simple: Reaper Rooster with Voodoo and 404 Chick with Cycle of Ash are the two best builds right now.

Best chickens ranked (overview)

S Tier: Reaper Rooster, 404 Chick, Nebula Hen.

A Tier: Golden Goose, Baron Cluck, Astro Chick.

B Tier: Cosmo Brat, Radiant Fenghuang, Doll Hen.

C Tier: Farmer Rooster, Founder Rooster.

Verify the exact list in-game because new updates can shift the meta.

S tier chickens

Reaper Rooster is the highest base-stat chicken in the game right now and works well in both the TOWER and PvP. It hatches from Haunt Eggs (easier to keep dropping) or Blazing Eggs (higher chance per egg). Fusing it with Doll Hen gives you the Voodoo skill build.

404 Chick hatches from Cursed Eggs or Blazing Eggs and has the best scaling potential in the game. It shines in the central pit with Cycle of Ash but is also decent in the TOWER.

Nebula Hen is underrated: it reaches the same ATK and SPD as Reaper and 404 but ends up with more HP at max level. It is slightly weak at the start but strong with the Cycle of Ash skill and some investment.

A tier chickens

Golden Goose is a tanky unit that is useful for the TOWER but slow, which hurts it in PvP. It farms from the Fortune Egg line.

Baron Cluck is easy to get and scale early, great for early money farming, and carries the Za Warudo skill. It also helps farm Fortune Eggs for Golden Goose.

Astro Chick has decent all-around stats and is the main gateway to the Void chain (it lays Void Eggs). It has a low stat ceiling, so switch away once you have higher-rarity units.

B tier chickens

Cosmo Brat is one of the best early egg farmers: it lays Scratch Eggs reliably and fast, but its stat ceiling is too low to invest in for combat.

Radiant Fenghuang is weak in combat but is valuable as the source of the Cycle of Ash skill and as a fusion partner for 404 Chick.

Doll Hen is similar: weak on its own but it carries the Voodoo skill and fuses with Reaper Rooster for the meta Reaper x Voodoo build.

Founder Rooster is easy to obtain from multiple eggs and is good for early TOWER content thanks to Titan Mode.

C tier chickens

Farmer Rooster is easy to get early and scales quickly enough to farm money, but it only has 12 gene levels, so it falls off fast.

Classic Rooster is the weakest in the game and gives no decent eggs. Replace it as soon as you can hatch Scratch Egg producers.

Best skills ranked

S Tier skills: Rebirth (Phoenix Hen - revive once with 50% HP, big AoE, brief invincibility), Voodoo (Doll Hen - reflects damage and adds a multi-hit burst), Cycle of Ash (Radiant Fenghuang - heals over time and deals burst damage).

A Tier skills: Ride of the Fallen (Valkyrie Hen - heal plus ATK/SPD buff), Blood Draw (Vampire Rooster - extra damage and knockback burst), Split Image (Twin Rooster - summons a clone).

B Tier skills: Titan Mode (Founder Rooster - size/buff boost, short duration), Za Warudo (Baron Cluck / Golden Goose - freeze plus massive burst).

Frequently asked questions

What is the best chicken in Grow a Chicken Fighter?

Right now Reaper Rooster and 404 Chick lead the meta; Reaper has the highest base stats and 404 has the best scaling. Nebula Hen is a strong third pick.

What are the best skills?

Rebirth, Voodoo and Cycle of Ash are the top three. Cycle of Ash is best on 404 Chick, and Voodoo is best combined with Reaper Rooster.

Should new players chase S-tier chickens?

Not first. Build Cosmo Brat for eggs and Baron Cluck for money, then unlock Haunt/Void/Cursed lines before farming S-tier targets.
