What is the Trick Egg?
The Trick Egg is the headline egg of Update 3 (August 29, 2026). It hatches five chickens from Rare up to Secret, with Ace Rooster as the chase pull at under 1%.
You cannot buy it in the normal egg shop early on - the whole route runs through the Catalyst Hen, another Secret chicken that hatches from the Colossus Egg.
How to get Trick Eggs
- Farm Colossus Eggs and hatch them until you pull the Catalyst Hen (under 1% per egg).
- Place Catalyst Hen in your Coop or Incubator - it lays one egg every 10 minutes.
- Each Catalyst Hen egg is a 98% Colossus Egg / 2% Trick Egg roll, so expect several cycles before your first Trick Egg.
- After your first Trick Egg hatch, put the new chicken back in the Coop - even a Rare Domino Chick lays Trick Eggs at about 10%.
Hatch chances and what to keep
Community-reported Trick Egg pulls: Domino Chick (Rare), Checkmate Hen (Epic), Puzzle Hen (Legendary), High Roller Rooster (Cosmic) and Ace Rooster (Secret, under 1%).
Keep at least one copy of every new Trick Egg chicken until the Update 3 meta settles - some may matter for Promotions, Battle Charms or future egg routes rather than raw combat.
